Hello GES Families!
My name is Brett Evans, and I am thrilled to be joining the GES family as one of your new Assistant Principals! I can't wait to meet our students, families, and staff and become part of this amazing school community.
A little about me outside of school: I grew up in Anne Arundel County and lived there until college. I attended the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) and now live in Seaford, Delaware, with my wonderful family. My wife and I have two energetic sons, Alex and Sam, who are entering 1st and 2nd grade this year. Our home is also filled with plenty of furry friends, including one dog and two cats.
When I'm not at school, you'll probably find me cheering on my favorite teams, including the Houston Astros, any of the UMD teams, the Dallas Cowboys, or the Washington Capitals. I also love playing video games and board games, riding roller coasters, and spending time with my family at the beach or camping.
I am truly excited to be part of the GES community and look forward to building strong relationships with our students, families, and staff. I hope everyone enjoys their summer, but here's to a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, and lots of FUN. I can't wait to meet you all!
