Breaking news! Mrs. Echternach accompanied several students to the Maryland History Day competition at UMBC today. All the students did a fantastic job, and we have a team who will be going to Nationals!!!!! Ariana Alvarez Larios and Lucy Howard placed first in the Group Exhibit category. Congratulations! We are so proud of you.

Everyday is National Principal's Day at Lockerman Middle School! The staff appreciate all Mrs. Necessary has done to keep us "rooted" in the right direction! We cannot wait to see how this school grows under her leadership. #WildcatPRIDE

Mr. Potter's Advanced Choir students represented Lockerman so well at yesterday's National Day of Prayer event on the courthouse green in Denton. They did a beautiful job on both America and Amazing Grace.

6th and 7th grade glow dance TONIGHT! Please follow the traffic route for pick up and drop off at the back doors. We look forward to seeing the students there!

Reminder that Washington D.C. permission slips are due Wednesday, 5/1. All money and permission slips are due so that we can pay our bus payment which is coming due. Thank you!

Students in Ms. Rank, Ms. Glass and Ms. Bruno's classes researched an environmental issue and created posters to teach others how to protect the Earth's resources. At the same time, they earned community service hours!

Good morning,
We have two important announcements for 8th grade families:
1. Please be sure to turn in your child's permission slip for the upcoming 8th grade field trip as soon as possible. Please reach out if you need an additional copy.
2. We still have 219 students who have not turned in their Proof of Residency. Emails have been sent for proof of residency. In order for students to get their 9th grade schedule, a new proof of residency has to be turned in to the guidance department. Emails started going out in early March. Please check your spam folder to see if the email has gone there. If you have not received an email, please call the guidance secretary, Ms. Cabarris, so that your email address can be updated.
Thank you for your attention to these items!

Be a part of the Wildcat team! Check out all Caroline openings at carolineschools.org or email HR@ccpsstaff.org. We look forward to hearing from you! #CarolineFamily
