Congratulations to our elementary media specialists Linda Blackmon (PES), Ken Bouchet (DES), Christine Fortner (RES), Ann Mengal (GES), and Brittainy Simmons (FES)! Thanks to their work, all five elementary schools have earned national recognition and are among only 160 schools nationwide to receive the CS100 School Award for their commitment to providing exceptional computer science education to K-5 students. The Greensboro Judy Center and lots of community partners have joined together for a Hello Summer! Safety Fair on Monday, June 14, 5:00-7:00pm in the school parking lot. Cruise the info and demonstration booths, enjoy a few refreshments, and maybe win a raffle prize!

Field day is tomorrow, Friday June 2nd! 😎
Please send your child with a water bottle. Water bottles must be clear and contain ONLY water. Please do not send in fruity drinks or colored water. 💧
Sunscreen should be put of children before coming to school. ☀️
Parents can come to see their students on Field Day, when their child’s class is in the bus loop. The class schedule for the bus loop is listed below. Parents are invited to watch the bus loop activities from under the canopy, like we did for our Halloween Parade.

The PTA is excited to announce that our Walk-a-Thon fundraiser is going strong! We are still collecting donations through the day of the Walk-a-Thon, Friday May 26th! Please remember that Pre-K will be walking on Tuesday May 30th. Please check your child's backpack for the schedule . Thank you to all who have donated.
