Dear Parents,
Our 5th grade students will be taking the MISA (Maryland Integrated Science Assessment) on March 14th and 15th. Makeup assessments will occur starting on March 16th and run through March 24th. The test consists of four 40-minute sessions.
Ways to Support Your Child:
-Students should be well rested, meaning a full night’s sleep.
-Students should drink plenty of water.
-Students should be present and on time for each session. They will complete two sessions each day.
-Morning Session - 9:30-10:30 am
-Afternoon Session- 1:00- 2:00 pm
-Students should be in attendance on all testing days (Please avoid any appointments during the school day on these days, if possible).
All personal electronic equipment not related to testing is prohibited, including Fitbits, smart watches, etc. Students will use their school-assigned laptop for MISA.

Thank you so much to our GES community for raising $7,690.92 for the American Heart Association! Today is the last day for online fundraising, so please wrap up donations this evening. We had 76 students register online and 21 students completed Finn's challenge! Amazing!
