This is a friendly reminder that our school will celebrate Earth Day today with a day full of indoor and outdoor activities. The weather is quite chilly today. Please send your child to school with the appropriate outdoor clothing. They will need a jacket today. Thank you.
Families, please note: Tomorrow, Friday, April 19, is a scheduled half day for students. According to the most recent weather report, there is the potential for fog tomorrow morning. Should conditions in the early morning hours indicate the need for a delayed opening, the half day will be canceled and students will dismiss at their normal dismissal time.

It's time! Enrollment is now open for eligible PreK and Kindergarten students, and all other students NEW to the Caroline family.
Please note: If your child is currently in a Caroline PreK4 class, there is no need to enroll again. You're good to go for kindergarten! If your child is currently in PreK-3, they need to be enrolled for PreK-4 at their school of residence and requalified.

Good Afternoon Families! Students in grade three through five will complete the MCAP assessment in reading and math. Third grade will begin the MCAP reading assessment on Monday.All student devices will remain at the school during their grade level's testing week. Please make sure students arrive on time to school. WOW, we have some brave students volunteering to hold a snake on their shoulders! Our 4th Graders had so much fun visiting the Sultana Education Foundation and learning all about the Chesapeake Bay!

5th grade and middle school parents:
Registration is now open for the 2024 Summer Career Enrichment Program (SCEP), a 4-week program for middle school students to engage in hands-on activities. Students can enroll in Animation, App Development, Careers in Healthcare, Chess, Cyber Security, Drones, Media Arts, Presentation/Video Design, and Robotics. Location is Colonel Richardson Middle School; bus transportation provided.
This program is in partnership with the People for Change Coalition, Mid-Shore Regional Council, Rural Maryland Council, and 3 County school systems: Dorchester, Talbot, and Caroline.
