All schools will be closed again tomorrow, Friday, January 10. Offices will open at 10:00 am. This decision is based on the continued deterioration of road conditions as a result of frigid temperatures and high winds causing snow drifts. As always, we will provide updates as needed through all CCPS communication channels.
All schools will be closed again tomorrow, Thursday, January 9. Offices will open at 10:00 am.
We appreciate the long and stressful hours that state, county, and town employees are working in order to clear the roads. Despite their very best efforts, the high winds and frigid temperatures continue to create significant challenges in making roads safe for school bus travel.
As always, we will provide updates as needed through all CCPS communication channels.

Are you surprised to hear that all schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7? There's a lot of snow out there! Please stay safe and warm, Caroline Family.
Happy New Year! We hope you are enjoying your snow day! It's a great day to snuggle up and read a good book!
You may have noticed that the monthly reading calendar has been updated. The expectation is that when your child reads for their assigned time frame, you or your child will need to write the title of the book and the page numbers read. An adult must sign when the reading is completed. (An example is provided below.)
You may read to your child or your child can read to you! We hope to have lots of participation in the new year!
Remember: Reading daily increases your child's vocabulary, reading comprehension, fluency, and overall academic success in all subjects!
Due to impending inclement weather, all schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 6.
We will continue to stay in close contact with Caroline Department of Emergency Services and other partners for the latest and most accurate weather and road information, and will share any updates through all CCPS communication channels.
Stay safe and warm !
