Mark your calendars, 5th grade families!
Lockerman Middle invites 5th grade parents and students to an information night. Come meet the 6th grade counselor, learn about middle school schedules, and the transition to middle school. We will also share school supply lists, information about 6th grade tours this summer, and will have time for Q&A. If you will have a student in middle school next year for the first time, please join us. This is an optional information session, but we look forward to seeing many new LMS families there!
Come out on Tuesday from 5-7pm to learn about summer activities, summer safety and a chance to win fun prizes! Hope to see you there!
What an AMAZING performance by our Glee Club tonight, directed by Mrs. Rousan and Mrs. Brinsfield. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm. The students did a fantastic job! We are so proud!
This morning, Bus 18 was involved in an accident with a motor vehicle. No students were on the bus at the time of the accident, and the driver was not injured. As soon as we have information about which bus will be replacing Bus 18 this afternoon, we will advise families.
Don't forget to join us for a fun event next Tuesday!
Happy May!

SGA released the GES turtle “Fred” today on Poplar Island. GES worked with Maryland Environmental Services and the Port of Baltimore to raise her. Students can help feed Fred and weigh and measure her throughout the year. The head start program is helping to increase the terrapin turtle population in Maryland.

Good afternoon,
Just a friendly reminder that if your child participated in the Hit The Books Program, the game is Sunday, May 5th. They will be collecting canned goods for Perdue Strike Out Hunger and kids can run the bases after the game (depending on field conditions).
Fans who bring and donate 4 canned goods to their customer service booth will receive an Upper Reserved voucher for a future Sunday game.
Students who wish to participate in the Hit The Books parade prior to the game should arrive no later than 1:20 and be on field no later than 1:25. They will start promptly at 1:30. However, if they deem field conditions to not be safe, they will have to cancel the parade for the safety of the students.
